The Municipality of Brighton has launched a redesigned municipal website aimed at improving how residents and visitors access local information, services and community resources.
The new Brighton dot ca website is now live and features an updated layout intended to provide a more user-friendly experience, according to the municipality.
Officials say the goal of the redesign is to make it easier for users to find municipal services, community updates and important notices in one centralized location.
As part of the transition, the municipality says residents who were previously subscribed to website updates will no longer receive notifications through the old system. Users are being asked to re-subscribe through the new news and notices portal to continue receiving email updates.
The municipality says the change is necessary due to updated website capabilities and is part of its ongoing efforts to improve communication with residents.
Brighton officials are also encouraging residents to follow the municipality on social media and sign up for the digital newsletter to stay informed about local news, events and municipal notices.
The town says it remains committed to providing timely and accessible communication as the new platform comes online.
More information is available through the new municipal website at Brighton.ca.
