The 10th annual Incredible Doctors’ Cook-Off has raised more than $145,000 net in support of Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
The Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation and Auxiliary say the milestone fundraiser brought hundreds of guests together beneath the marquee along the Trent River for an evening featuring exceptional food, live entertainment, auctions, raffles and spirited competition.
One of the highlights of the evening was the Foundation’s Fund-A-Need campaign, which raised $100,800 toward the purchase of new equipment for the hospital.
The funding will support the purchase of a combination triple-deck baking and roasting oven and two Centrella smart beds with integrated air surfaces.
Foundation Chair Martha Hunt says the event is about more than food, bringing the community together to support healthcare close to home.
The fundraiser also featured local physicians working alongside culinary partners, who donated their time and talents to the event.
The 10th anniversary celebration included a tribute to Chef Mark Andrade, whose passion, generosity and commitment helped shape the Incredible Doctors’ Cook-Off into a cherished community fundraising event.
The Foundation also thanked sponsors, volunteers, donors, entertainers, judges and the hundreds of guests who contributed to the event’s success, as well as the Auxiliary to Campbellford Memorial Hospital for its partnership.
The Foundation says the success of this year’s event is a reminder of what can be accomplished when the community comes together with a shared commitment to supporting local healthcare.
