Old Bank Cafe is beginning a new chapter in Frankford after local entrepreneur Zack Talsma took ownership of the popular business.
Talsma, who grew up in the Quinte West area, said he was excited to continue the cafe’s tradition of providing a welcoming place for residents and visitors to gather.
Talsma said that the Old Bank Cafe has already built a loyal following of customers, and he wanted to preserve what people have come to see and expect from the cafe while bringing fresh ideas to the table
In addition to owning the cafe, Talsma operates Lure Marketing, making Old Bank Cafe his second business venture.
Located at 1 Mill Street, the cafe serves a variety of coffees, teas, baked goods, all-day breakfast dishes and lunch items. Customers can also enjoy a recently introduced weekend waffle menu and rotating seasonal offerings.
Looking ahead, Talsma said the business plans to introduce special events and occasional dinner services while maintaining the atmosphere and quality that customers have come to expect.
Talsma went on to say that he’s excited to welcome both familiar faces and new customers while continuing to make the cafe a place people want to gather, connect, and enjoy coffee.
Old Bank Cafe is open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., with the exception of Tuesdays.
Additional information is available through the cafe’s website and social media channels.
