A Campbellford man is facing several charges after Northumberland OPP responded to a series of dangerous driving complaints.
Police say the first call came shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 8 in the area of Front Street South and River Street.
More complaints followed involving the same vehicle, including reports of property damage and verbal confrontations around Campbellford.
Shortly after 1 p.m., a vehicle matching the description was involved in a non-injury collision with another vehicle in the parking lot of a community event on County Road 38 before leaving the scene.
Officers later located the vehicle, but police say the driver failed to stop several times.
The driver was eventually arrested around 3:25 p.m. at a commercial property on Canrobert Street.
A 49-year-old Campbellford man faces charges including dangerous operation, uttering threats, mischief, failing to stop after an accident, resisting police, flight from police and stunt driving.
The vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Cobourg court in September.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
