Two more candidates have filed nomination papers for the upcoming 2026 Quinte West municipal election.
Trevor McMillan filed Monday, August 17, to run for councillor in Ward 1, Trenton.
Doug Herrington also filed on August 17 and is seeking the councillor position in Ward 3, Murray.
Candidates have until Friday, August 21 at 2 p.m. to submit their nomination papers to the City Clerk.
The City says a full list of certified candidates will be made available Monday, August 24, following the close of nominations.
The 2026 Quinte West municipal election is scheduled for October 26.
