Work on the Harbour Street reconstruction project in Brighton has reached the next phase after the base asphalt layer was completed between Walas and Cedar streets.
Contractor Dekeyser Excavating Ltd. is now replacing watermain and storm sewer infrastructure along Harbour Street from Cedar Street to Forest Drive.
The municipality is reminding drivers to follow construction signs and take alternate routes when possible. Residents and businesses are being thanked for their patience as the infrastructure upgrades continue.
