The Municipality of Brighton is reminding residents to make sure their voter information is up to date ahead of the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election.
The election will take place on Monday, October 26, with voting conducted online.
Residents who have recently turned 18, changed their name, or moved are encouraged to confirm their information and register to vote if needed.
Voter information can be updated through Brighton’s Clerk’s Office. Residents can visit the office at 35 Alice Street, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., email clerks@brighton.ca, or call 613-475-0670, extension 210.
The municipality has also published the Certified List of Candidates for the upcoming election.
Residents will have another opportunity to get election information in person during Applefest on Saturday, September 26. An election information booth will be set up on Main Street between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
