If you’ve been thinking abut bringing another feline furry friend into your home The Northumberland Humane Society is the place to go.
Wendy Riley, Director of Animal Care with the Northumberland Humane Society says that there is an unprecedented number of kittens available for adoption and they need to get the word out.
Riley says that as cute as they are they are a huge drain on their resources and they really need to find a good forever home.
Riley says that they are even taking in kittens that are out of their jurisdiction so the situation is becoming dire. Kitten adoption fees are set at $250 which includes their total vetting which is a full package and a lot of piece of mind.
