Quinte West OPP are asking for the public’s help identifying an ATV rider accused of dangerous driving in Frankford.
Police say the incident happened shortly after midnight Oct. 4 near Rosewood Drive, Ashwood Crescent and Huffman Road. Witnesses reported a young male driving across lawns, through ditches and over construction cones, damaging several properties, including a residential address sign.
Officers later located an ATV matching the description, but the rider fled when police attempted a traffic stop.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 16, with brown hair, wearing a work-style jacket and backwards baseball cap. The grey or grey-blue four-wheeler remains the subject of an ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Quinte West OPP or Crime Stoppers.
