The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train will return to Ontario in November, bringing live music and holiday festivities to communities while raising funds and collecting food for local food banks.
The brightly decorated train will visit several Ontario communities, including Belleville, Trenton, Brighton, Bowmanville, Oshawa and Toronto, as part of a route featuring 182 stops across Canada and the United States.
This year’s performers include American Authors, Magic!, Chase Rice, Jamie Fine, Tyler Shaw and the Sam Roberts Band.
Since 1999, the annual initiative has collected more than $28.3 million in donations and 5.6 million pounds of food for food banks across Canada and the U.S.
Organizers encourage visitors to bring cash donations or non-perishable food items. All contributions remain in the communities where they are collected.
