The Northumberland Stars preserved their undefeated record Friday night with a victory over the Brighton Vikings in a Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League matchup at the Keeler Centre in Colborne.
Brighton opened the scoring through Yenri Jibb before William Lindgren and Matt Mazzotta put Northumberland ahead.
Maximilian Enge-Kristiansen and Mazzotta added second-period goals, while Lindgren scored again in the third.
Jibb netted twice for Brighton, and Waylon Morris also scored, but the Stars held off the Vikings’ late push to secure the win.
