Survivor Night presented by the Northumberland Paramedics recognized those who successfully resuscitated a patient on the way to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The event held Tuesday October 27th in Cobourg was attended by paramedics, police officers, firefighters, ambulance communications officers and others from the community who helped this patient survive.
Ambulance communications officer from the Lindsay communications centre Tamara Kimball explains the call.
This was Kimball’s second time at the event and she says it is a great way to honour everyone involved.
Speakers at the event included Northumberland County Warden Bob Crate and Northumberland Paramedics Chief Susan Brown.
