For three days at the end of October, Cobourg Community Centre will host the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Governors’ Showcase.
Organized by the Cobourg Cougars hockey club, the event runs from October 25th to 27th. It will feature 21 teams playing in front of hockey scouts from across Canada.
In addition to putting eyes on talented hockey players to see who has pro-potential, the Governors’ Showcase will provide economic stimulus to Northumberland County.
Organizers say it’s more than a hockey event and also shines a light on Northumberland County.
