The 12th Annual Colborne Festival of Trees has started and runs until December 10th.
“With our current situation, the Festival will look different again this year,” said Chad Morford – Music teacher at Colborne Public School. “Music education in Ontario is slowly returning to normal and because of our focus on percussion instruments, we are less impacted than others but we felt it was better to present this event virtually.”
Virtually presented again this year, this important fundraising event supports the Music program at Colborne Public School.
You can win a fully decorated tree by purchasing tickets. Tickets are available for purchase, www.colbornepsdotca.wordpress.com/festival-of-trees-2021/ or at Foodland in Colborne. This year there are 15 trees available in this year’s raffle. Your ticket gets you a chance to win 1 of the 15 available.
There is also an online silent auction available on Facebook at @ColbornePublicSchoolFestivalofTrees or https://www.facebook.com/ColbornePublicSchoolFestivalOfTrees
To make a bid for an Online Silent Auction item, simply type your name, and the amount you wish to bid in the comment section of the item picture on Facebook. The opening bid on each item must be at least the minimum bid (which will be listed on all items in the description). Each subsequent bid must follow the minimum increment of $5.00. Any bids not adhering to this format will be declared invalid and voided. Once the auction is declared closed, the last bid entered on the comment section that adheres to the designated increment shall constitute the winning bid and will so be marked.
