Ontario could see 10,000 new COVID-19 cases daily by Dec. 31 as the Omicron variant takes over according to the Ontario science table head Dr Peter Juni.
The number of new COVID-19 cases has gone up by roughly 33 per cent, with two-thousand, four-hundred and 21.
That’s the highest daily tally since mid-May.
Dr Natalie bocking says Covid rates are up even in the HKPR region.
Bocking adds the these numbers have increased steadily for the past 3 weeks and show no sign of slowing down.
