Hastings Prince Edward Board of Health has appointed a new Medical Officer of Health.
Dr. Ethan Toumishey comes to the post after being the Acting Medical Officer of Health for several months.
Health unit administrators say Toumishey has provided strong steady leadership.
Prior to his latest posting Toumishey was hired as the Director of Clinical Programs at HPEPH after completing his residency in Public Health and Preventive Medicine last June.
