This season at the Capitol promises to be outstanding.
They’re currently preparing for their second show of the season, Stag and Doe, a comedy written by Canadian Mark Crawford.
We spoke to Artistic Director Rob Kempson who told us about his inclusive approach to theatre.
Kempson also shared some background on Mark Crawford’s Stag and Doe which starts this month.
We asked Kempson about why he choose Crawford’s play for the Capitol.
Kempson when on to say that Stag & Doe is a great fit for Port Hope.
It goes without saying that the best defense against COVID is still wearing a mask and while most spaces outside of hospital settings have lifted their mandates, the Capitol continues to require masks. We asked Kempson why and he told us it’s about keeping everyone safe and but it’s also about making sure the show can go on.
Rob told us you can be certain that your time will be well spent at any of the performances at the theatre.
