Port Hope Police have placed charges on a couple after an investigation lead to police finding two children duct-taped and unattended.
On June 30th, Port Hope Police say they attended a residence to assist in a Children’s Aid Society Investigation, after a daycare provider alerted the organization with concerns about two children’s health and well-being.
Police say the children were removed from the residence indefinitely and received appropriate medical care.
Following a full investigation, yesterday a 32-year-old male and 34-year-old female were arrested and both charged with two counts each of Forcible Confinement, Failing to Provide the Necessaries of Life, and Assault with A Weapon.
