Military training is scheduled on Millenium Trail for August 9th
Approximately 50 Pathfinder trainees, carrying their rucksack and rifle, are scheduled to train along the western 20 kilometres of the Millennium Trail in Prince Edward County.
They’ll be supported by two all-terrain vehicles and a side-by-side which will be used for patrol or in the event of an emergency.
The Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre, CFB Trenton, will undertake the training.
The training is not expected to generate much, if any, nuisance noise; however Council has waived Noise By-Law provisions for the duration of the exercise.
