Community Care Northumberland is looking for volunteers.
The Meals on Wheels and CCN’s Transportation programs need your help.
Every week, the Meals on Wheels Program delivers nutritious meals to those who cannot shop for groceries or cook for themselves.
And the transportation program helps seniors and adults with disabilities get to medical appointments, treatments, community services, shopping, banking, and so much more.
According to Colleen Williams of CCN, COVID had a big impact on these services and they can’t keep up with the demand.
Williams told us where in Northumberland the demand is greatest.
