Northumberland United Way wants you to share the love during “Local Love Week”
Local Love Week is about celebrating our community’s collective impact – helping bring stability to individuals and families during sometimes unstable times.
According to United Way Acting Executive Director Maggie Darling, staff, volunteers, and donors all play a part.
Darling told us local car dealers are showing the love in support of Local Love Week.
Darling said that a barbeque will wrap up the week on October 6th.
Local Love Week ends on October 6th with a CommUNITY BBQ at United Way’s office on Swayne Street in Cobourg from 11:30 to to 1:00 p.m., so drop by and share the love.
A small gesture can make someone’s day and Northumberland United Way hopes you’ll consider sharing acts of kindness, rallying for important causes, and thinking about others this week.
