Loved ones are celebrated at the Memorial Christmas Tree.
The Healing Hearts Northumberland Memorial Christmas Tree sits elegantly in the foyer of Victoria Hall in Cobourg.
The tree honours the memory of loved ones lost to toxic poisoning and accidental overdose.
Pamela Spitzer lost her youngest daughter in May of 2021 and told us what the tree means to her.
Healing Hearts facilitator Missy McLean led the group in sharing the names of those lost, as ornaments were placed on the tree containing pictures of sons, daughters, friends and loved ones.
Spitzer told us the group has been fundamental in helping her come to terms with the loss of her daughter Stephanie.
Healing Hearts Northumberland invites everyone to stop by the tree, and for those who’ve lost a loved one to toxic drug poisoning or overdose, you can add your loved one to be remembered too.

The Memorial Tree will be on display until the end of the month.
