Port Hope is often called Ontario’s favourite small town and it’s no wonder with all the great things that happened in 2022.
Kinetic Care owner and HBIA Board of Directors member Martha Ciana shared one of her highlights; Run Salmon Run.
According to Martha, it was a sight to see.
The Run Salmon Run festival was also a chance to help support food security with the festival’s signature pink hip waders on-hand for donations to the food bank.
And if you needed inspiration on what to do with that freshly caught salmon (okay, they used canned salmon), then that was available too.
Ciana said things were also busy in Lent Lane.
And the 189th Fall Fair was a great success.
Promoting Port Hope as a premier business and shopping destination is one of the focuses of the Heritage Business Improvement Area.
Ciana told us of a singularly great idea developed by HBIA Manager Jamie Byers.
The 504 piece puzzles are available at Furby House Books, Ganaraska Financial, and the HBIA Office at 58 Queen Street in Port Hope for just $30.
