We’re now a few weeks into 2023, and we spoke to Cobourg Police Chief Paul VandeGraaf about what things people can expect to see from police this year.
He said 2022 saw an increase in crime generally across the province and in Cobourg.
VandeGraaf said they’ll be focusing on analytics in 2023.
He said talking regularly with the public about their concerns is top of mind.
VandeGraaf also previously told us about how they’re starting to look into what will be needed in a new police building, which is still in the early stages of development.
