It was a contest organized by Classic Rock 107.9 and 93.3 myFM and its partners Kingsmill Kitchens and Bath and Gencon Contracting and Renovations which saw one local non-profit organization selected for refresh of their space.
Listeners nominated local non-profits, and Northumberland Youth Unlimited was selected on Giving Tuesday.
Kingsmill Kitchens and Bath’s Gary Potter told us it was a privilege to participate in Paint it Forward.
Gencon Contracting and Renovations’ Carl Fletcher said it was a win for everyone involved.
Northumberland Youth Unlimited is an organization that runs programs for youth in the area to create a safe and caring environment, where youth are heard, challenged and encouraged.
Tony Posthumus, Executive Director of Northumberland Youth Unlimited, is excited to share the new space with everyone who uses it.
Posthumus spoke about the group’s involvement with the community.
