Until June 4th – the Art Gallery of Northumberland is hosting a solo art exhibition.
Twenty-eight works of art by Jay Dart are on display and you can view the video “Distance: Existence” that Dart worked on during a recent artist residency with Critical Mass in Port Hope.
You’ll hear the voices of Northumberland families and Dart’s own impressions as he explores a variety of themes including land ownership and ecological stewardship.
Titled “Yawns and Dust”, the exhibition is immersive. Viewers will see new works alongside a selection of pieces from recent chapters in Dart’s Yawnder series.
Dart’s work has been shown in galleries and at art fairs across the country and around the world.
