Commuters are being given a heads-up about a road closure coming in Quinte West.
A portion of Front Street will be closed Sunday, April 30th and Monday, May 1st.
The northbound lane between the corner of Dundas, upwards to Elgin is shutting down for a gas line repair. The southbound lane will remain open to through traffic and the sidewalks will remain accessible on both sides of Front Street.
Maintenance is set to start at 8 a.m. on the 30th and finish by 6 p.m. on the 1st. Sidewalks will still be open during the repairs.
Signage indicating the closure will be installed near the work area.
