Damage to trails from the derecho windstorm last year took months to repair, but “The Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority is happy to welcome users back…” said GRCA Chair Mark Lovshin.
The GRCA has developed an interactive, web-based Ganaraska Forest mapping system to view and download where users can find their location in the Forest by using the locator tool and the map will display any trail restrictions or closures instantly
Day Passes are available for purchase at the Gatehouse kiosk in the Ganaraska Forest Centre and memberships are available for sale from GRCA Online Store – Ganaraska Forest Memberships, Day Passes & Events (ganaraskaconservation.ca).
As a reminder to all users, please remain on mapped trails, respect trail restrictions, carry your day pass or membership with you and ensure you have the proper documentation with you and affixed to your motorized recreational vehicles.
