A sex crimes case in Prince Edward County has led to criminal charges being laid against a 48-year-old individual.
As part of an ongoing investigation Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Ameliasburgh Ward.
Charges against the accused include sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching involving a person under the age of 16, possession of child pornography and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the alleged victims.
