Whether you’re an expert birder or new to bird-watching, this weekend’s ‘Warblers and Whimbrels’ event at Presqu’ile Provincial Park will be exciting and fun.
Beverlie Cook with Friends of Presqu’ile Park says there will be variety of ways to learn.
The Saturday and Sunday event celebrates the spring migration of the smaller birds, that annually stop at Presqu’ile on their way north. Presqu’ile’s geographic location and its varied habitats make it a popular stopover for migrating birds.
The event is free to attend with a park day pass or an annual park pass if you have one.
A detailed schedule of events and demonstrations will be posted on social media and around the park. Check the Calendar of Events on the Friends of Presqu’ile website for details.
