Councillors in Brighton have been sharing their thoughts on the biggest issues that need addressing during this year.
Jeff Wheeldon says the municipality has made strides to increase community engagement during this term with involvement from direct public input being a large part of the municipality’s Strategic Planning Process.
Strategic planning sessions were held throughout the term to encourage the public to collaborate on the possibilities of the future, to which Wheeldon said is exactly what he’s looking for.
Wheeldon explained that connecting with the community during plans like developments is what leads to growth in the community.
