Housing and broadband connection continue to be key issues facing residents of Brighton.
We’ve spoken with councillor Emily Rowley to hear her opinion on what needs to be dealt with in the township.
Rowley specified a lot of the issues on the council’s mind are being pushed into strategic planning, like their initiatives for medical services. But the councillor said housing is a subject they’ve been discussing.
Rowley mentioned the area’s broadband connection issue is something they’ve continued to work on, but as of this moment, they’ve reached a stale point in the discussion, but the councillor remains optimistic.
This is the fourth council board Rowley’s worked with, and she says the team is bringing new ideas to the table and working together as a unit. The biggest challenge, as Rowley specifies, is remaining focused on Brighton’s future.
