Brighton Main Street business Sunflower Health Shop & Services is celebrating 10 years in business and owner, MaryAnne Lightfoot attributes the shop’s success to perseverance, exceptional customer service and supporting locally as much as you can.
A carefully curated selection of products that also includes many local offerings, the Sunflower Health Shop & Services strives to provide their clients with the purest (organic) foods, herbs, and natural supplements.
They also offer eco-friendly products from shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, deodorant, and cleaners.
Did you know that they also offer local meat products including chemical-free grass fed beef, chicken, turkey burgers, bacon, hamburger patties and sausages along with a selection of fermented products including kombucha as well as sauerkraut and kimchi?
They are also wholeheartedly committed to educating their customers on what products can be used for various health issues or ailments.
“We are committed to our customer’s health by offering alternative natural therapies,” said MaryAnne. “My team is so knowledgeable about our products and they are able to make great suggestions to help each customer’s unique situation.”
They also have several in-store services which include Reiki, Ionic Foot Detox Therapy, a Natural Health Practitioner, and Live and Dried Blood Analysis and is always loving for like-minded professionals
MaryAnne has always been interested in alternative health care.
Her Dad took her to an herbalists when she was 4 years old and this sparked the lifelong interest, continuing as an adult in 1999, studying with herbalists and attending lectures and webinars in Canada and in the United States. She initially worked in the store for two years as an employee, and when the previous owner was ready to retire, she took over the operation of the shop instead of letting it close, and is officially celebrating her 10th anniversary in business on the main street of Brighton starting on July 15th, 2023 and throughout the rest of the year.
“For the rest of the summer, every Saturday we will be giving away a variety of gift baskets full of natural healthcare products, starting on our official anniversary, Saturday July 15th,” added MaryAnn. “Our customers are so loyal and with COVID people have become more aware of natural ways to boost their immune systems.”
MaryAnne and her team love helping people solve or manage their health issues.
“I just love helping people and finding the right product which is the key to unlock their good health,” added Mary Anne.
