A 37-year-old Cobourg woman is in trouble with the law enforcement after an altercation at a local business.
On October 10th, police responded to a call regarding an alleged assault near King Street West and Division Street.
It was reported that a woman got into an argument with a business owner, allegedly assaulted them, and caused property damage.
When the police intervened, she assaulted and spat at the officers.
She now faces charges of assault, assaulting a peace officer, and mischief under $5,000.
The woman was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
