A man from Courtice was charged after a car crash.
On October 24, 2023, at around 9:15 p.m., the Northumberland OPP got a call about a car crash on County Road 30 in Trent Hills.
A pickup truck crashed into an electricity pole, and the road had to be closed temporarily after the police arrived. The driver was found at the scene and was taken care of by the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) before being sent to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
A 33-year-old named Christopher Amos was charged and will appear in court on January 31.
