United Way Northumberland’s new Executive Director is ready to take the hot seat.
Alicia Vandine sports over two decades of experience managing not-for-profit organizations and soon her feet will land under the desk locally.
Vandine spoke warmly about the team.
Acting ED Maggie Darling will now transition back to her previous role as Director of Communications & Impact. Vandine spoke with Darling and says she is just as well.
In her previous role at Community Care Peterborough, Alicia successfully developed and implemented an integrated fundraising plan, maximizing existing programs and diversifying funding sources. That and her decade of experience with Community Care Northumberland equip her with an awareness of the culture and needs of the entire Northumberland area.

Vandine is also leaving the Oldies newsroom to pursue this role. Vandine was critical in developing news outlets for Oldies 100.9 in Brighton, where she currently resides.
