Until then, here’s a list of what’s opened and what’s closed in Quinte West and Northumberland:
MUNICIPAL SERVICES
All municipal offices and Service Ontario sites will be closed until Jan 2.
LCBO AND BEER STORES
All liquor and beer stores in the region will be closed.
Most Shoppers Drug Marts remain open under reduced or regular hours. Call ahead to confirm.
PHARMACIES
Rexall at 1 Main st., Brighton will be open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
GROCERY STORES
All major grocery stores in Quinte West and Northumberland will be closed on Jan. 1. Including Chris & Angela’s No Frills in Brighton. All grocery stores through Hastings and Campbellford will also be closed.
BOX STORES
All box stores, including: Walmart, Canadian Tire, Giant Tiger, and Best Buy will be closed Jan. 1.
