The Trenton Golden Hawks are making plays off the ice as the OJHL trade deadline looms.
The G-Hawks acquired Samuel Ivanov from the Soo Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League. Ivanov was most recently playing university hockey with the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.
The Richmond Hill native just turned 21 and appeared in six games this season with the Ridgebacks. He had 77 regular season games over two seasons with the Greyhounds in the OHL.
Ivanov was a fourth overall pick in the 2020 U18 OHL Priority Selection
