A tentative agreement has been reached between the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario – Kawartha Pine Ridge Teacher Local.
The new collective deal would run through August 31st, 2026.
Teacher Local President David Berger says they see substantial gains that will have a positive impact on both our members’ working conditions and our students’ learning conditions.
The Board’s approximately 1,500 contract elementary teachers have been without a collective agreement since August of 2022.
