The City of Quinte West is looking to recruit firefighters.
The city recently announced it was accepting applications for paid volunteer firefighters.
Applicants must live or work in the Quinte West area to be eligible for the position, reads the city’s posting, which also details a probationary rate of $25.91 per hour for the post. Candidates are asked to apply online with a resume before the July 31 posting deadline.
