For its third year, the free-to-attend event will be offering large-scale board games and on-site vendors in the parking lot of the Venture North building, as well as interative experiences curated by The Council for Persons with Disabilities (CPD).
We spoke with CPD’s Marketing Coordinator – Jason King. King says he’s hopeful for another successful year.
Most notably, the event will once again offer a handful of opportunities to experience The Council for Persons with Disabilities’ (CPD) Virtual Reality Simulation of the Time in My Shoes Program, which is a firsthand perspective on the daily challenges faced by many individuals.
New this year, participants can check out Canopy Services’ sensory tent. King tells us what that is.
The event begins on June 1st from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.
