
Central Hastings OPP are calling on the public for help with an arson investigation in Tweed.
The investigation involves a fire reported back on the afternoon of April 16, 2024, at around 3:30 p.m.
According to police, a garage on Moira Street was “fully engulfed in flames.”
Emergency crews, including OPP and the Tweed Fire Department, answered the call.
There were no injuries reported.
Investigators are now calling on anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area that afternoon.
“We would also like to hear from anyone with potentially relevant doorbell or dashcam video,” added OPP, in their call for help issued on Tuesday, May 7.
