The criminal investigative division, with help from forensic identification services, continue to investigate the incident, said BPS.
As previously reported, police said they responded to a report of a homicide at a Hastings Park Drive residence at about 1:28 a.m. on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, police said they found a 26-year-old female deceased and a 30-year-old male who had lacerations to his wrists. Both parties were located inside the residence.
According to initial reports, the accused and victim were in a previous intimate partner relationship; however, they remained living in the same residence, said police on Wednesday.
