The countdown is on to the opening of Peterborough Musicfest.
Crowds will gather for the first time this summer on Saturday as Tenille Townes performs in Del Crary Park.
Gonorthumberland.ca caught up with Executive Director Tracey Randall.
Randall says once again this year, volunteers will be walking around collecting donations for the ‘Invest in Musicfest’ campaign.
According to Randall, everyone is invited down to Del Crary Park to check things out.
Randall tells us more about the ‘Invest in Musicfest’ campaign.
On Canada Day, Randall says crowds will be treated to the ‘Road Apples’ – a tribute to The Tragically Hip.
