Prince Edward County OPP are continuing to investigate after a death at Point Petre.
On Sunday, Aug. 4, shortly before 7 p.m., OPP said officers responded alongside paramedics and fire and rescue to the Point Petre area. According to OPP, reports stated individuals had been in the water.
Additional assistance was also provided by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Police said a 35-year-old resident from Prince Edward County was pronounced deceased.
No other details were provided by police.
