Cobourg’s Victoria Park will abound in sensational sounds and tantalizing aromas from August 16th to 18th, 2024.
This beloved event, organized by the Rotary Club of Cobourg, brings together top barbecue vendors and live music to support local and international causes.
According to Rotary Club event Tom Behan, all your favourite ribbers will be back this year.
Rib enthusiasts can savour dishes from renowned vendors Billy Bones BBQ, Silver Bullet, Bibbs Texas Ribs, Boss Hog’s and Uncle Sam’s BBQ. Each vendor brings unique flavours, with offerings such as Billy Bones’ signature sauces and Uncle Sam’s award-winning ribs. Boss Hog’s, a past People’s Choice winner, will also showcase its popular ribs.
Behan tells us more about this year’s music lineup.
Live entertainment is a festival highlight, featuring an exciting lineup of musicians. Friday kicks off with the Bruce Longman Trio and Blue Sky Flyers, while Saturday offers Harley & The Howlers and Shania Twin. Sunday wraps up with Midnight Special and Max-Life Crises.
Behan (BANE) tells us about the importance of Ribfest to the club.
According to the Rotary club, this event grows bigger and better each year and is a fantastic way for the community to enjoy great food and music while supporting important projects.
Proceeds from Ribfest benefit initiatives like Habitat for Humanity Northumberland, Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice and Northumberland Hills Hospital.
