The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and local McDonald’s restaurants are teaming up to support local healthcare.
This Friday, Aug. 23, McDonald’s Hospital Day will roll out at participating locations in Trenton and Brighton.
“We are excited to partner with McDonald’s for this event, which will have a meaningful impact on our hospital,” said Lindsay Butcher Dodds, interim executive director of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation. “We invite everyone in our community to join us by enjoying their favorite meals at McDonald’s and supporting TMH on Aug. 23.”
During the event, $1 from every Big Mac and McChicken meal, along with 50 cents from every coffee (medium, large, or extra-large) purchased at participating McDonald’s locations will be donated to support TMH.
The funds raised during this event will go towards purchasing a much-needed ophthalmology stretcher, ensuring the hospital continues to provide top-quality care to the community, explained the foundation.
Participating locations include the Brighton McDonald’s. In Trenton, your purchases will support TMH at the 266 Dundas St. E. location, 470 2nd Dug Hill Rd., and the 18 Monogram Place McDonald’s restaurant.
The foundation is also looking for volunteers to help at the McDonald’s Hospital Day event. Those interested in supporting the event are asked to email volunteer@tmhfoundation.com.
