It’s time to bust out those skates and hit the ice at Brighton’s King Edward Park Arena.
As of Tuesday, Oct. 15, adult and youth ice programming at the arena made its return.
Here’s what you need to know:
Parent and tot skating runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. for kids six and under. It’s $2 for adults, but kids glide for free.
Adult skating also runs Tuesdays and Thursdays but from noon to 12:50 p.m. It’s $2 for adults.
Seniors will also have their own dedicated ice time for $2 on Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
Public skating runs on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. and on Fridays from 7 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. On these days, it’s $3 per person.
And adult pickup shinny hockey is also returning on Fridays, running 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. It’s $10 per person; however, there is no charge for goalies.
Residents with questions about programming can reach out to Vicki Hallam at the municipality via vhallam@brighton.ca.
