A Trenton resident is facing a careless driving charge after a crash in Belleville, say police.
According to the Belleville Police Service, last Friday, Nov. 8, at about 12:35 p.m., police responded to a single-vehicle collision, where a vehicle reportedly struck a utility pole on Dundas Street East.
“The utility pole collapsed onto two other parked vehicles that were unoccupied,” said police.
No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 59-year-old man from Trenton was charged with careless driving.
This charge has not been proven in court.
No other details were released by police.
