The Northumberland and Peterborough OPP are investigating a string of break and enter incidents involving three masked suspects and a grey vehicle with no front licence plate.
The first incident occurred on January 2, 2025, at approximately 8:15 a.m. at a business on Rice Lake Drive in Bewdley, Northumberland County. Police say three males tried to force entry into the property using an implement at around 7:40 a.m. The suspects fled before officers arrived, and nothing was taken.
A similar incident took place on January 6, shortly after 4:00 a.m., at a commercial premises on Ottawa Street in Havelock, Peterborough County. The same grey car and three males were seen on-site. This time, the suspects forced entry and stole cash, beverages, and cigarettes before police arrived.
The OPP has released images of the suspects and the vehicle. Investigators believe the same individuals are connected to both incidents. Residents and businesses are encouraged to review security footage for any suspicious activity.
